Philosophy & Objectives
Fox Chapel Area Baseball is a recreational youth sports program that seeks to enhance baseball skills and leadership qualities. Its primary objective is to provide a safe playing environment while giving players the opportunity to develop fundamental skills of the game of baseball, learn sportsmanship, develop leadership qualities, and actively participate as a valuable team member while having fun. The competitiveness of the game increases as the players advance from a minimal amount of competitiveness in Tee-Ball to a higher level in Colt League Baseball.  An individual’s self-esteem will never be sacrificed for a competitive advantage. The Fox Chapel Baseball Association will work to instill and maintain the highest level of sportsmanship, integrity, fairness and professionalism so that we can continue to offer a first-class, quality program.


Expectations
The expectations are that each coach, child, and parent present exemplary behavior; display and encourage sportsmanship; establish the values of teamwork; demonstrate enthusiasm, honesty, and respect for the game; and maintain a clean and safe playing environment.
