Coaching and Referee Opportunities
Referees Needed
Referees are needed for 3rd & 4th grade games and as the second referee for 7th through 12th grade games. To qualify, you must at least be in 9th grade. Adults are welcome. Compensation is $10 per game. Contact Jim DeStout at 963-9125.
Want to Coach a Team?
If you are interested in coaching please contact the appropriate age group commissioner. Contacting the President of the league will only delay your application and response.
All Coaches must agree to the terms that they will:
- communicate clearly and be responsible to show up early, provide safe, fun, and appropriate training for the kids
- not either text or talk on phones while practicing or at games,
- will refrain from allowing non-coaching friends/spouses in the team bench area
- complete the required background check for child safety
Fox Chapel Area Winter League Basketball will accept 11th and 12th graders interested in coaching a team. Boys will not be assigned to coach girls teams.
